We recommend photographing your bump between 30 to 34 weeks. At this stage in your pregnancy, you have a nice round bump but you aren't so uncomfortable you don't want to move anymore. Plus you are more likely to avoid the dreaded "pregnancy" nose if you have your maternity shoot closer to 30 weeks. Depending on how your pregnancy is progressing, we can photograph you up to 35 / 36 weeks but that is really pushing it <no pun intended> - lol. Get in touch and we can work out the best time to schedule your shoot.
Of course! Having a new baby is super exciting for the whole family and we would love to document this for you.
I always recommend picking a photographer you are excited to work with - you'll always get the best results this way. I work with a limited number of clients each year so I am able to give each client my undivided attention and tailor your session to your specific needs. The studio is based on Furtho Manor Farm, Old Stratford, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
The session fee begins at £495. This includes the design consultation with a styling and beauty guide, professional hair and makeup styling, a 2-3 hour guided photoshoot, posing coaching, a private viewing & ordering session and £200 print credit to use towards your purchase.
Yes, we have a small selection of maternity dresses, robes and a variety of fabrics we can use for your session. You can see some of our client wardrobe on our Instagram Highlights right here. Once you have booked your session, we will schedule a consultation and send you a guide on what to bring to your session and how to prepare.
You don't need to know how to pose for your pregnancy photoshoot. I am an expert in posing women of all shapes and sizes. After over 10 years of studying and posing women - I know all the tips and tricks that can help you look great in camera. All you have to do is turn up and trust me.
Don't worry! I'm very experienced at helping my clients get comfortable in front of the camera which leads to great pictures. Just turn up, put your faith in me and I'll take care of the rest.
Most of our sessions happen between Tuesday and Friday. Saturdays can be requested but cost an additional £195 to book.
Within 3 weeks of your portrait session, you'll be invited back into the studio for a private viewing and ordering session where you will see all your hand retouched images for the first time. You will be able to to select your favourite images and wall art pieces at this session.
There is no hard sell. However it is very important that all the decision makers are present at this viewing because you are likely to love most of your portraits.
WOP is a print based studio so each image you order will be delivered as a beautiful professional print in an archival white mat, which means these legacy items can be handed down from generation to generation. We also offer a variety of wall art which you can proudly display on your wall. Check out the WOP experience page right here for more information.
Short answer: Yes - with every print you purchase in a collection.
Longer answer: As as full service photography boutique, I firmly believe in the power and timelessness of print. So every image you purchase will be delivered as a beautifully matted print ready for display. However if you decide to purchase a collection, you will also receive as complimentary the matching digital files.
Yes we have a beautiful selection of custom designed handcrafted products to pick from. Most of our clients treasure beautiful wall art in their homes, so we recommend prior to your viewing that you think about the areas you would like your wall art hung. We will design customised wall art for your home at your private viewing and ordering session.
